Purchasing & Accounts Assistant
Coker Engineering have an exciting opportunity for you to become our new Purchasing and Accounts assistant.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Purchase Ledger management, with an end to end purchasing process
- Account’s data entry – currently in Sage 50 Professional
- Answering the phone, directing calls, and dealing with the messages received.
- Contacting suppliers to resolve delivery and invoice queries.
- Placing orders both over the phone and via email to support the production team
- Monthly credit card reconciliation
- Collating required information when needed
- Filling and archiving
- Time clock analysis
Essential Skills
- Experience with end to end purchasing process
- Sage or accounting software experience
- Good customer service skills
- Experience within an engineering industry ideally or manufacturing
- Excellent telephone manner
- Able to negotiate prices
- Ability to problem solve and prioritise work load
Desirable Skills
- AAT Training or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Share Point and other Office 365 Apps

Salary ranges up to £25,000 depending on experience.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 17.00
Friday 08.00 – 14.00
